Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, May 11, 2011: Steering clear of poll surveys and exit polls, which mostly gave a slight edge to Congress-led UDF in the assembly elections, Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today said “wait till May 13″, the counting day.
In a brief chat with reporters after a state cabinet meet, an unruffled Achuthanandan said he was glad all the pre and post-poll surveys showed a majority of voters acknowledged the good things done by the LDF government in the last five years.
“About 65 per cent of respondents to all the surveys said the government had performed quite well. This is some thing that gives satisfaction. The rest we will see on May 13 when the results of the 13th Kerala assembly will be declared”, the 87-year-old leader said.
