Thiruvananthapuram, : Kerala finance minister, Thomas Isaac, told that the state government is planning to reduce the duty on diesel.
On Wednesday, Aug 4 Thomas Isaac also told that reduction on tax will not be there on petrol. Currently Kerala currently tax diesel at 24.69 per cent.The Delhi Government reduced sales tax on diesel by Rs 2.50 a litre on Jul 20 and West Bengal government announced a subsidy of Rs 1 per litre on diesel used for public transport and exemption of sales tax on kerosene.
