Kerala people depend on the milk supplied though MILMA, which is the largest supplier of milk in Kerala.
The price for 1 litre will be increased by Five rupees and from this Rs 4.20 will be given to Cattle farmers who supply milk to Milma.
Milma Chairman has informed that they are forced to hike the prices because the cost of production and supply of milk has increased considerably.
They also said that the increased prices will come into force as soon as they get a clearance from the Election Commission or after the election results are announced.
Milma Chairman has also made it clear that the Kerala Government does not have any power to prevent the hike in prices of Milma Milk.
My opinion is that people should prevent buying the products of Milma like Milk, Butter and other by-products.
If people of Kerala start making a strike against Milma by not purchasing Milma Milk it will forcr Milma Company to lower down the price of milk.
The Increase in Price of Milma Milk (മില്മാ പാല്) will be a great blow to Keralites who are waiting for another blow this month.
It has been said that Central Govt will hike prices of petroleum productc including petrol, diesel, LPG Gas .etc.
It is becoming difficult to live in India with the hike in prices that ae becoming uncontrollable.
