Girl born in the skies gets a flying start in life!!

No one can predict birth – and this has been proved yet again. A baby girl was born in a SpiceJet flight from Kolkata to New Delhi. Nature takes over the reins and keeps everyone always guessing. Otherwise – how can one explain the birth of this baby girl in mid air when the mother was only eight months pregnant and the doctors had given a delivery date of 10th of May?

Shortly after takeoff from Kolkata, the mother began to complain of uneasiness and with every passing minute, she kept becoming restless. The father requested the cabin staff to do the needful and, fortunately, there was a doctor couple travelling in the flight. The lady doctor realized that the mother was in labour and delivered the baby girl with the help of the cabin staff. On landing at New Delhi, the mother was transferred to a hospital by her family.

The SpiceJet is happy at this incident and are considering a suitable present to the baby. They should take note that such births are very seldom and the usual practice is toextend the facility of free lifelong travel by their airline to the individual.
