The court has however added that essential articles in use for day-to-day activities of the temple that are presently stored in one particular vault can only be opened. The court has also sought recommendations on the methods to safeguard the treasure by both the Travancore royal family and the state government.
The court will further consider the matter on Thursday on the opening of the vault. The court-appointed sever member panel had faced trouble after continuous attempts to open the 'B' vault failed. They had then approached the Supreme Court seeking advice on what needs to be done.
Now it will take a while before the controversy on the vault is cleared after rumours and controversies emerged on the secret cellar.
